California-based Beautycounter’s mission is to make cleaner and safer skincare and cosmetic products available to everyone. Beautycounter enlisted Standard Architecture to design their new office space in Santa Monica to reflect their company’s values through transparency and sustainability.

The bright, plant-filled space features slatted oak screens that create spatial division, while maintaining transparency and light, and connecting all spaces and people together. Creative solutions such as acoustic panels made from recycled plastic bottles are functional and environmentally responsible. Pivot worked with the team to furnish the space in a clean, natural palette of products sourced from environmentally- and socially-conscious manufacturers including Herman Miller and OFS.

The new clean, modern office design reflects the company’s mission, reinforcing their brand and reputation, for their employees and for their conscientious clientele.
