Pivot played a central role in the delivery of Kaiser Permanente’s new Central Valley Modesto Medical Office Building, providing prefabricated interior walls for their provider enclave modules. This included exam rooms, nurse stations, provider offices and other templated rooms across the project. As part of a broader initiative to modernize healthcare construction, Pivot coordinated closely with the architect and full project team as a design consultant, supporting BIM modeling for the full building before executing the interior wall scope under the general contractor, Swinerton Builders.
The newly constructed, three-story, 107,400-square-foot, LEED-certified facility expands access to primary and specialty care for the growing Central Valley community, bringing a wide range of services together in one welcoming, highly functional environment.
Located next to the Kaiser Permanente Modesto Medical Center, the new building brings together a wide range of services under one roof in an open, housing nearly 300 staff — including more than 75 physicians — to provide adult and family medicine; pediatrics; hematology and oncology; and outpatient pharmacy services under one roof. Other spaces in the medical office building include more than 100 exam rooms, a 28-bay infusion center, and includes a newborn care center and high-risk infancy clinic, as well as a dedicated rehabilitative services space for physical and occupational therapy.
