Epson

Los Alamitos, CA

Design:
Wolcott Architecture

Two existing 2-story buildings were radically transformed into a 170,000 square foot campus for one of the largest electronics companies in the world. The interior was entirely reimagined to make way for an open ceiling floorplan with a variety of settings to support the broad spectrum of work activities required for Epson’s talented team. A variety of office configurations, open collaboration spaces, a commercial kitchen café, and newly updated outdoor patios empower employees to choose where and how they’ll work throughout their day.

An interconnecting bridge made of structural steel connects the two buildings, while a feature staircase promotes streamlined mobility within. A large-scale installation by renowned digital media artist, Refik Anadol, showcases Epson’s industry-leading digital technology products.

Nominated for an IIDA Calibre Award, this project was a true collaboration between exceptional partners: Wolcott Architecture, Adams CM, Howard Building Corporation, Pivot Interiors, Taber, and tk1sc.
