Canopy is a modern membership-based coworking space designed to foster community. From concierge services and amenities to the varied furniture settings, ergonomics, and bold design aesthetic, the carefully considered details are designed to attract a diverse cross section of thinkers, makers and doers -- creating a hub for inspiration. Designer and cofounder Amir Mortazavi (of design and build firm M-PROJECTS) worked with the Pivot team to create a space which mixed contemporary and classic Herman Miller designs, supporting the needs of the modern-day worker. The unique applications of these furniture pieces result in a space that feels fresh and luxe.

The space centers around an open work area featuring a range of Herman Miller furniture – including Public Office Landscape and Sayl chairs, designed by Canopy’s cofounder Yves Béhar for Herman Miller. Private Offices feature ergonomic Renew height-adjustable desks. Conference, café and lounge areas boast Herman Miller Collection designs in unexpected colors and finishes, highlighting the rich materiality. Ample natural light and outdoor space invigorate and enhance the community’s connection with the neighborhood.

Pivot has worked with Canopy on locations in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights and Jackson Square, with a new five-floor location coming soon in the Financial District.
