What defines Pivot’s culture?

We are passionate about our purpose, our customers and our people; we live our shared values; and we work as a team to deliver great results.

“My vision for our company is to build a diverse community of people who share a passion for our purpose, live our values, and work together as a team to deliver world class solutions and service to our customers,” said Ken Baugh, President & CEO. “Hand in hand with living our values is creating a culture of kindness, compassion and respect for one another, where we celebrate our successes and enjoy what we do each day.”

With more than 200 employees across six California offices, our workforce is a blend of diverse cultures, skills, perspectives and backgrounds.

We believe in creating an environment for our employees where they can thrive and do their best work. A well-designed, well-functioning space can inspire innovation and productivity. We apply this principle our own offices, and take it a step further with a steadfast commitment to supporting our employees as whole people. With a community atmosphere and robust offering of benefits, we provide our employees the resources and tools to work as a team and meet the needs of our customers, while ensuring that we care for our people in a way that allows them to rest and recharge during their time away from the office.

Pivot’s benefits go beyond the standard, and reflect our commitment to supporting and empowering our people. In addition to a generous health benefits and PTO package, we walk the walk with flexible schedules and hybrid work options. Pivot also encourages employees to give back to their community and to each other – such as options to donate time to employees in need, paid volunteer time and a matching charitable gifts program.

“I am excited to have joined such an amazing team, and look forward to growing here. Pivot truly focuses on a diverse and inclusive culture that creates a sense of belonging. Employee feedback is both valued and used to drive change for a better workplace. The retention of employees speaks volumes - many people at Pivot have been here for +10 years.”

“Working at Pivot is both rewarding and fun, with an atmosphere that exemplifies respect and kindness amongst team members, a focus on work-life balance, and ample opportunities to learn and grow within the structure of your studio or to move from one department to another. One thing I appreciate about my role at Pivot is the trust and freedom to own the design process from beginning to end.”
