Pivot Interiors recently refreshed our showroom in Orange County with Gensler to support the design community and demonstrate how modern workspace environments and MillerKnoll furniture solutions can enhance flexibility, collaboration, and productivity. The showroom functions as both an active workplace and an immersive demonstration of future‑focused office design.

Located on the first floor of a premier office building, the showroom features floor‑to‑ceiling exterior glass walls with views of the iconic Noguchi Garden. This connection to the outdoors pays tribute to the sculptor’s influence on design while reinforcing the showroom’s emphasis on natural light, transparency, and biophilic principles. The 8,500‑square‑foot environment includes a glass‑front VIP meeting room, a dedicated team conference room, an executive private office, and a central gathering space that transitions from a meeting room into a social hub. Retractable glass walls allow the space to convert easily into a closed training area or an open event zone.

Advanced audiovisual technology supports real‑time video collaboration and interactive presentations, while automated shades manage daylight exposure throughout the workday. Lush indoor plants enhance the connection to the garden outside and bring warmth to the modern interior.

The majority of the showroom is furnished with MillerKnoll products, giving Pivot employees the ability to move between multiple work settings depending on task and workflow. Visitors enter through a welcoming informal seating area that includes an open kitchen and bar, designed to encourage hospitality and conversation. Traditional workstations and individual touchdown spaces support focused work.

Material choices—fine wood millwork, polished concrete, warm wood floors, and patterned carpet—create a layered, textural experience. Exposed ceilings increase vertical space, while glass walls in conference rooms and common areas reinforce visibility, connection, and openness throughout the showroom.
