Haunt Couture 2017
Lights, Camera, Action -- IIDA's Haunt Couture 2017 was an exciting journey to faraway lands.
We had the exciting opportunity to sponsor and attend IIDA’s 15th Annual Haunt Couture event last week in Los Angeles. The show took place at the Avalon Hollywood, a historical venue that featured stunning Art Deco details in its architecture and design.
Haunt Couture is a unique event that blends fashion, creative design, and theater to produce a runway show competition amongst well-known design firms. The show not only features intricate garment pieces created from donated interiors textiles, but also incorporates creative choreography and cinematic elements into each firm's production.
Pivot was proud to be a sponsor for Rios Clementi Hale Studios, who did an amazing job utilizing beautiful textiles from Unika Vaev to bring their performance to life. Herman Miller sponsored HOK, who wowed the audience with their Phantom Chicago / Rocky Horror Picture Show performance featuring an array of fun and eclectic fabric choices from Bernhardt Textiles.
Haunt Couture was an experience that went above and beyond our expectations. We can't wait to attend this incredible event again next year!
