WISEPlace Transformation: Turning Space Into Place
Pivot and Herman Miller are proud to partner with WISEPlace which stands for Women Inspired, Supported, and Empowered. Retail Design Collaborative and CDG Builders led the charge in redesigning WISEPlace's Community Room.
Earlier this year, Pivot & Herman Miller hosted Transformation: Turning Space Into Place, a design competition to create a functional, inspiring new space for WISEPlace's Community Hall. After a review of the design solutions and deliberation by a panel of judges, Retail Design Collaborative and CDG Builders emerged as the winners!
On July 30, WISEPlace reopened its doors for a grand opening celebration. The inspiring event and transformation of this space truly brought together the Orange County A+D community in support of an important cause. In addition to the transformation of WISEPlace, the A+D community helped raise over $8,000 for emergency shelter needs, with an added $25,000 from the Herman Miller Cares Foundation.
